Buddy was the latest artist to visit NPR headquarters to appear for their Tiny Desk concert series. Backed by a band that included two guitarists, a singer, drummer and keyboardist, the Compton native performed various tracks off his Harlan & Alondra debut album that released last year. The near 12-minute set also came with a funny moment, where Buddy attempts to light a blunt in between songs. Sadly, the weed connoisseur found out quickly that no smoking is allowed on the premises. Watch Buddy and his band deliver live renditions of “Legend,” “Trouble On Central,” “Hey Up There” and “Real Life S**t” below.
