Childish Gambino won big at the 61st annual GRAMMY Awards on Sunday night (Feb. 10). Despite not attending music’s biggest night, the artist/actor took home ‘Song of the Year,’ ‘Record of the Year,’ ‘Best Music Video’ and ‘Best Rap/Sung Performance’ for his Billboard smash-hit “This Is America.” Cardi B made history, becoming the first solo female artist to win ‘Best Rap Album’ for her multi-platinum debut, Invasion of Privacy. Drake, who reportedly passed on performing at this year’s show, made a surprise appearance accepting his ‘Best Rap Song’ victory for “God’s Plan.” Meanwhile, despite not being in attendance, The Carters (Beyoncé and JAY-Z) won ‘Best Urban Contemporary Album’ for Everything Is Love.

The night featured a handful of first winners including Jay Rock (‘Best Rap Performance’), H.E.R. (‘Best R&B Album’ and ‘Best R&B Performance’), Ella Mai (‘Best R&B Song’), Dua Lipa (‘Best New Artist’), and Anderson. Paak (‘Best Rap Performance’). See the full 2019 GRAMMYs winners list below.
